Mount Britton Trip (Part 3) - The Township

Map of the Mount Britton Township.  it had gazetted streets, pubs, a school and a Post Office/Telegraph station.  We approached from the south along the dotted line leading to the "Fig Tree".
Plaque commemorating the birth of the first "white" child:
"An exciting event occurred at Mount Brittion on 30th September 1883 with the birth of the first white child, Albert Mount Britton (Berti) Mills.  To mark the event his father John Henry Mills planted this fig tree in the garden"
