The tale of two pubs, The Mount Britton Hotel and the Diggers Arms Hotel.  We actually visited the Oxford Hotel in Nebo after we'd left Mount Britton.

Ed Gibsons Butchery is on the bank of the Oakey Creek and makes you wonder exactly what ended up in the creek...

The corner of Gray and Stevenson Streets was the location of "Cairnedie".  Lyall Ford (left) contributed most of the information for the signs at Mount Britton.  As a bonus, he's running for council ... more on that latter.

There was even a school.

I noticed that the picture of the Post and Telegraph Office had a background which is almost unchanged to this day.
